{Per Press Association.) Dunedin, July 15. Robert W. Farquhar was accidentally killed at Warepa. It seems that he was playing with a little girl named Elliott and tho children had a rope attached to tho -top of a Very ijeavy hay sledge which was leaning agaihst tho shod. The hoy was pulling tho rope and apparently overbalanced the pledge, which fell on him killing him instantly. Invekcabgill, July 15. A man named James Patterson tried to cross the line as a train was entering Thornbnry station to-day. The engine caught him as he was mounting tho platform and turned him over, causing a dislocated shoulder and a variety of minor bruises. Mrs Thyne, 71 years, who resided with Mrs Henderson at Myrosa, was found dead in bed this morning. She retired in good health and spirits last night. A post mortem has been ordered. Hokitika, July 16. John Cameron, coacli proprietor and contractor, a very old resident of Westland since the sixties, died early this morning after a long and lingering illness.
