An instance when he had been requested to talk to himself was cited by Mr V. L. Drummond at the January meeting of the Putaruru Borough Council on Wednesday. While discussing the matter of a servicemen’s cemetery in Putaruru with a member of the Internal Affairs Department, the Government official asked Mr Drummond, as clerk of the borough, to confer with the secretary of the R.S.A. Mr Drummond is secretary of that organisation.
