At a meeting of the Land Board on Thursday the cases of a number of selectors who had not complied with the conditions of the Land Acts, as to improvements and occupation, were considered and dealt with, and it was decided to forfeit tho following selections :—F. G. Moore, section 4, Block XIII., Makuri, E. E. Prior, section 1, Block IX., Mangahao; T. Ilastie, section 00, Block 1., Makuri; F. W. Frankland, section 42, Block X., Pohangina; George Walllier, section 77, Block XVIII., Mangahao. In other cases further explanations were asked for, and in some instanees the selectors were informed that unless the improvements were done by a given date their interests would be cancelled.
