What is the Move.
The latest news from Wellington is that the Ministry will propose to call Parliament together early next month, and that the Ministry will then resign. There is also some talk about a dissolution. We do not think any possible good can be gained by Parliament meeting so soon, and as for a dissolution, we cannot conceive an yone in their righ fc senses advocating such aoourse until it is found there is no other way open to settle any difficulty which may arise. If the Government have gob a spark of self-respect they will resign at once, and altew Air Ballance the opportunity which he is entitled to as Leader of the Opposition to form a Ministry, and then if things are not satisfactory to the majority when Parliament meets in April there can be no doubt matters will be arranged satisfactorily without recourse to a dissolution. The action of the Government can lead to no other conclusion than that they are acting in their own interests, and not in the interests of the country, and their conduct is certainly deserving of the severest censure.
