HISTORIC SITE BOUGHT
FLAMBOROUGH HEAD SAVED FROM BUILDING(British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m, RUGBY, March 25. The land on Flamborough Head, .a prominent feature of the east coast of England, has been saved from building development owing to the purchase by the Bridlington Corporation of some 120 acres, including the site of the lighthouse and the ’fog signal station.
The object of the purchase is the preservation >of this national landmark.
