EMERGENCY COMMITTEE
(Special lo the Herald.) WAIROA, this clay. It was de.cided, at the monthly meeting of the’ Wairoa Borough Council, that the Mayor, Mr. H. L. Harker, and Cr. F. Berry, be appointed the council’s delegates to attend a meeting of local body representatives with a view to forming an executive committee to deal with matters in case of an emergency, such as an earthquake.
