Auckland Surgeons Praised
“I am certain that we have a number of men in Auckland capable of doing work in the many branches of surgery equal to the ‘best abroad, with the exception, perhaps, of the occasional genius,” said Mr. W. A. Fairclough, honorary ophthalmic surgeon at the Auckland Hospital, in a letter received 'by the Auckland Hospital Board.
