GUARANTEE TO CZECHS
UNPROVOKED AGGRESSION ANSWER IN COMMONS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 1.15 p.m. RUGBY. Mar. 14. Replying to a question by the Leader of the Opposition, Major C. R. Attlee, with reference to the proposed guarantee to Czechoslovakia, the Prime Minister, Mr. Neville Chamberlain, gave a reminder in the House of Commons that it was to have been a guarantee against unprovoked aggression and no such aggression had yet taken place. Mr./ Chamberlain described as altogether an unwarranted assumption a suggestion by Major Attlee that tire Government was. now entirely disinterested in Czechoslovakia.
