REMINDER BY POPE AIM OF PONTIFICATE (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Reed. March 15, 1 p.m.) ROME, March 14. Pope Pius XII replying to the congratulations of the College of Cardinals, said the Pontificate’s only .aim throughout the centuries had been the service of truth. He appealed for assistance in carrying out his high office. Alluding to all that is liopcd for and expected from the Throne of St. Peter, lie said: “-Not only those closely bound by faith, but 'ats'o not a few brothers separated from us and nearly all the human family are desirous at this hour of peace.”
