MOUNTAINEERING KING

MINIATURE FACILITIES LONDON, July 15. King Leopold of the Belgians, according to the Brussels correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, has ordered the construction of a miniature mountain, complete with rocks, at his home at Stuyvenberg, where ho and the late Queen Astrid lived. This will enable him to practise his favourite sport of mountain climbing. King Leopold has just returned from a climbing holiday in the Dolomites, Italy. Queen Astrid was killed in a motoring accident near Lucerne in 1935. King Albert of the Belgians met his death the previous year while climbing crags of the Meuse Valley.
