MODEL AEROPLANES
THE WINTER RECESS FLYING- MEETING)- HELD Model Air Sub-League No. 2 has held flying meetings regularly throughout the winter recess, although the weather on various occasions has been boisterous. However, the results of the last two meetings were good. At the meeting a fortnight ago, L. Poole was the winner with a flight of 79 sec., and qualified for his ace badge, and C. Andrew, who was third in the day’s flight, qualified for his pilot’s badge.
A week ago, K. Robertson won his .pilot’s badge with a flight of aOsec., the second best performance of the day
Last week a model-building meeting was held at the club’s new rooms in Lowe street, there being a good attendance.
