REP, TEAM POP WATROA

A Town v. Country Rugby match will be played on Saturday by teams representing the town and countryprimary schoolboys, the purpose of the game being to select a team to represent Poverty Bay in an annual fixture against Wairoa on Saturday, August 13. The team to represent the country schools will assemble at the Gisborne High School's grounds at 1.15 p.m., when their jerseys will be distributed. The country team is as follows: — Fullback, Dowries (Manutuke); threequarters, R. Mullooly (Ormorid), S. James (Manutuke), and Carrington (Manutuke); five-eighths, Pomana (Manutuke) and Reid (Patutahi); half-back, Hall (Patutahi); forwards, Vuksiteh (Bartletts), Atkins (Patutahi), Walsh (Makauri), Ericksen (Makauri). Clayton (Makauri), McGrannachan (Patutahi), Torric (Wae-renga-a-hika), and Moore (Makaraka): emergencies: Backs, Bell (Bartletts). Kelso (Oi'mond), and Ratapu (Manutuke); forwards, Nepia (Manutuke) and Maxwell (Ngatapa).
