BUTTER MARKET ERRATIC
BUSINESS IN LONDON
CHEESE VALUES FTTLM
(Reed. June 27, noon.)
LONDON, June 20
The butter market is rather erratic. It was expected that the weakness of the Continental stocks would depress the Empire prices, but the latter are surprisingly firm, carrying Danish and other European descriptions upward with them. The market is at present quiet and values have held fairly well. The cheese market is also firm m sympathy with butter.
