AWARD TO STUDENT
COCKAYNE GOLD MEDAL DIPLOMA TEST SUCCESS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The executive council of the New Zealand Institute of Horticulture has awarded the Cockayne gold medal to Mr. F. J. E. Jollie, -New Plymouth, as the bes't student, in the opinion of the examining board, in its diploma examination for 1937.
Mr. Jollie completed the diploma examination shortly after his return from the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where he underwent further training.
