PROBLEMS FOR CHURCH
EDUCATIONAL WORK ARCHDEACON WAND’S VISIT (Per Proas Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A mession of considerable importance has brought the Ven. Archdeacon Wand, of Brisbane, to New Zealand by the Awatea. He is to address the Anglican clergy first at Christchurch and later at Wellington on the modern problems confronting the church, particularly with a view as to what extent the educational developments foreshadowed shall be allowable.
According to the church’s policy, there was much left to be desired, lie said, in belief in God and in the present-day morals.
