The Karamea, which loads at Napier this week, will take approximately 50,000 carcases of Hawke’s Bay lamb for the Christmas market in England, This will be the only shipment from Hawke’s Bay to reach London before the Christmas holidays, the next loading being by the Rangitiki which arrives at Napier from Gisborne on November IG.
