(Herald Correspondent.) A series of euchre parties has been held in the Waikohu Hall recently to raise funds for the local football club, the final being played on Wednesday evening. Despite the wintry weather, there was a good attendance and the club's finances should benefit considerably from these efforts. The prize-winners for the evening proved to be Mrs J. Goodley and Mrs Watene, and Messrs. D. Morris and W. Bartlett, while other prizes were awarded to Miss J. Doran and Mr. C. Atkins. Prizes for aggregate points were won bv Mrs. M. Brown and Mr. W. Bartlett. , :
