DEPARTURES Thursday, July 8. Pukeko, m.v., 9 p.m.. 742 tons. F. S. Bates, for Napier. The Wainui, which is loading for Napier and Gisborne, has been further delayed and is now expected to leave OamarU and Timaru to-day, work Lyttelton to-morrow, and Wollinßton on Monday. The steamer is, due at Gisborne about Thursday next. The Pukeko, which left Gisborne at 9 p.m. yesterday for Napier, works the Hawke's Bay port to-day and sails for Waikokopu, Portland and Auckland. The Awahou is duo at Tokomaru Bay to-night from Auckland and Portland. After working Tolnga Bay she comes on to Gisborne, arriving here j to-morrow evening. ' The Pakura is loading at Wellington for Napier and Gisborne. She clears the capital to-morrow, works Napier on Monday, Gisborne on Tuesday, and proceeds thence to Lyttelton. The Margaret -W. completes discharge and loading here this evening and sails lor Auckland, via Tolaga Bay. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Remuera, which sailed from Wellington on June Hi, arrived at Balboa on Tuesday evening. Proceeding via Curacao she is due at London on July 19. The Huntingdon (Captain A. E. Taylor) is now expected to arrive at Tokomaru Bay about Monday next from Opua to load frozen meat and general cargo Cor United Kingdom ports. The Monowai left Vancouver on Wednesday, and proceeding via Honolulu and Suva, arrives at Auckland on July 2(i. sailing the next day for Sydney. The Niagara left Sydney yesterday for Auckland, where she is to depart from on July IS for Victoria and Vancouver, via Suva and Honolulu. The Maunganui left Auckland for Sydney, where she is due on Monday, and is to sail again on July 10 for Wellington. The Blue Star motor-ship Australia Star arrives at Gisborne tins evening from Wanganui to load meat, butter and general cargo for London. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS Lyttelton.—July 8: Sailed.
