NEW ZEALAND ATTITUDE
PROPOSALS AT LONDON
POSSIBLE EARLY ANSWER
(Eloc. Tel. Copyright—United Pross Assn.) (Reed. June 2, 1.45 p.m.) LONDON, June 1.
The Australian Associated Press understands in connection with the English and American trade pact discussions, New Zealand will not agree to any proposals if they reduce New Zealand sales to Britain and simultaneously increase America’s sales to Britain. However, provided that an agreement can he readied satisfactory to New Zealand, the New Zealand Prime Alinister, Air. Al. J. Savage, unlike the other Dominions, would with Air. W. Nash, the New Zealand Alinister of Finance and Marketing, be ready to intimate New Zealand’s attitude before leaving England.
