EUCHRE PARTY (ITornld Correspondent.) A successful euchre party was held at the Hineriiaurea meeting-house, on Ttiesdaf evening in aid of funds for improvements to tho meeting-house. About. 40 players were present and a very irteresting evening’s play resulted. A delicious supper was provided by tho ewnmittee, and attractive prizes were donated for the highest scores, the winners being :—Ladies: Mrs. H. Wliakatalcti, J; Miss Doris Wlmrehinga, 2; Miss tuby Olsen. 3. fiontlerhen; Mr. M. Iliilihi, 1 : Mr. B. Orapa. 3; Mr. !C. Warn, 3.

An [j.G.U. medal match was played on theTolaga Bay golf links on Wednesday, the best cards being returned by Mrs. lb A. Moore and Miss B. Weeks, ,who tied with a net score of 72,
Mr. V. Currie returned to Tolaga Bay from IVoodville at the week-end. —Mrs. 11. O. Fraser, Tolaga Bay, is a visitor to Napier.—Miss J. Wells has returned from i holiday visit to Gisborne.—Mrs. W. Jfitchcll returned to Tolaga Bay from Gisborne on Tuesday.—Mrs. A. .7. Reid, who has been visiting the Wairarapa district, returned to Tolaga Bay on Siturday.—Miss E. Miller returned to Ttlaga Bay at the week-end nflcr speiidng a short holiday in Gisborne.— Mr. A. D. Bruce was a visitor to Gisborne for tho Cattle Fair.
