LONDESBOROUGH EARL TITLE PRESUMED EXTINCT LONDON, May 2(1. When the Earl of Londesborougli, the fourth to hold the title, which was created in 1887, died in April last, at tho age of 42, ho left no son. The earldom consequently' has been presumed to be extinct, the lesser title of Baron Londesborougli having passed to a cousin, Captain E. W. Denison. The Sari of Londesborougli’s widow, however, anticipates the birth of a child in ft few months’ time. If the baby is a son, he will assume all the titles cf his late father. If the ehild is a girl, she will have the status of an Earl’s daughter, with the prefix “Lady,” and Captain Denison will be as he is regarded now, Baron Londesborough.
