£328 DAMAGES AWARDED
INJURY IN ACCIDENT CAR OWNER LIABLE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Damages amounting to £328 8s 6d were awarded by a jury of four in the Supreme Court yesterday lo Henry John Simmonds, who was knocked down by a car and injured at Kilbirnie in October. The defendant was Agnes James, I lie owner of (he car, which at the time was driven by Leslie William Haighton, who was deemed, in law, to be her agent.
