The estate of Sir John Ellem.au, who died in 1933, originally was valued at £17,224,425, but has been resworn at £30,684,994, exclusive of property abroad. ..... The Exchequer w r ill receive £18,342,397 in, estate duty. It is computed that during liis lifetime, Sir John Ellerman paid income tax and super tax amounting to between £17,000,000 "and £20,000,000.
