WAIRARAPA OFFENDERS RESISTANCE TO POLICE (Por Press Association.) CARTERTON, this day. Mr. H. P. Lawrv, S.M.> this morning convicted Victor Emanuel Rinaldi, a married man having three children, and sentenced him to gaol for a, month and cancelled his driving license till June of 1937 for being drunk while in charge of a motor car. On u further charge of resisting the police, he was fined £5. Leonard Patrick Mills, for driving Rinaldi’s car dangerously, was fined £lO and costs £1 9s and his license was suspended for three months. For obstructing tho police lie was fined £5 and lie was also ordered to pay £1 in respect of damage to a cell door.
