(Herald Correspondent.) On Monday night the Whafatutii Tenuis Club committee met to discuss arrangements for the oilieial opening of |be tennis courts, which are to be opened on Saturday, Oetobt r 3. Mr. 11. Allan acted as chairman, with the following members of the executive com-Mii-Leo- Mrs. C. Gar.tkrodger, Mrs. K. 'fait, Mrs. A. Shaw, and Miss I. Kimr. \||., y Llov-d, Gisbornc, was the recent guest of Mrs. C. Bradford.
