SURPRISE PARTY
(Herald Correspondent.)
Last. Monday evening was chosen by a few friends of Miss Enid Greaves to organise a surprise party to pay a visit to her home to celebrate her .birthday. A jolly time was spent playing games and competitions. A dainty supper was served and the candles on the beautifully decorated birthday cake were lit by the guest of honour, and the cake was cut and passed round.
those present were Mr. and Mrs. Greaves; Misses E. and 0. Greaves, P. Davidson, L. and K. Beauf.oy, and E. Smart; Messrs. C. and I. Smith, R. Shaw, A. Davidson, R. Beaufoy, F, Harris, and S. Beaufoy.
