WAIP.TRO BAY CLUB ANNUAL MEETING (Humid Correspondent.) The annual meeting of the Waipiro Buy Tennis Club was held on Monday evening, Mr. W. S. Thompson presiding. The secretary, Mr. A. T, Allan, gave a very satisfactory report of the year's activities. It was decided to apply for permission to hold the annual Now Year tournament. The secretary was instructed to obtain estimates for the purchase ot a motor mower. It. was decided to make a small presentation to the secretary in recognition of his services in the past season. Mr. F. N. Holder was re-elected the delegate to the Poverty Bay and East Coast Lawn Tennis Association. The officers elected for the coining season were :—Patron, Mr. A. B. Williams; president, Mr. W. S. Thompson; vice-presidents, Messrs. C'.C. Nurse, 0. M. Colebrook, and A. Tuckwell; club referee, Mr. W. S. Thompson; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. T. Allan; handicap committee, Messrs. H. Wil liams, A. Tuckwell, W. S. Thompson and A. Allan ; ladies' committee, Mes dames C. N'urso and TI. Williams, Misses L, Lister, I. and B. Colebrook, K. Bcale and N'. bee: men's committee, .Messrs. 0. C. Nurse," H. Williams, W. & Thompson P. Lee. 0. Herbert, 11. Boyce, A. Allan and 0. Thompson. The opening- was fixed for Labour Day, October 26, with a dance to be held in. the evening.
