REDUCTION OF PATROLS
SHANGHAI, Sept. 25
The Sino-Japanese tension is lessening on account of the Japanese having) withdrawn their patrols from Chinese territory, except the Japanese Embassy and the vicinity of the spot where a Japanese bluejacket'was murdered by Chinese. The police of the International Settlement have resumed control.
