FLAX WORKERS STRIKE
ALL FOXTON MILLS IDLE PAY RESTORATION ASKED SCALE OF 1930 YEAR (Per Press Association.) FOXTON, this day. A mass meeting of flaxworkefs held last night decided, constitutional method's haying failed, to strike and demand a restoration of the 1930 conditions to apply as from July 1, 1936. All flaxmills are now idle as a result The workers were being paid 12s per day, for a 44-h.otir week.
