FREEZING WORKS DISPUTE PARTIAL AGREEMENT (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. A partial agreement was readied in the Conciliation Council to-day in the Dominion di.sptite between the meat freezing works employees and the meat freezing companies. The clauses relating to the rates of pay for hourly workers and ordinary hours of work were referred to the Arbitration Court. Piece work rates of pay were fixed and most of the other terms agreed 10. KING SOLOMON MINE DISPUTE SETTLED (Pfir Pr<>ss Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. Following a conference of directors of King .Solomon Deep Lead mine and employees in Gore to-day a settlement was reached in the dispute which caused the mine to be closed down on Monday. A joint statement was issued at the conclusion -of the conference to the effect that an amicable agreement had been reached, as the result of which the mine resumes normal operations to-morrow morning.
