STORM OVER LONDON
TORRENTIAL RAINFALL TRAFFIC DISLOCATED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY, Sept. 21. A torrential rain storm 'broke over London and the surrounding districts la'te last night. Traffic was slowed down and many motorists were forced to halt temporarily. Dover was thrown into darkness and tramcara were stopped for about an hour when lightning .struck an electric cable.
