MISS SAEAH CHURCHILL JOINING U.S. COMPANY LONDON, Sept. 16. The actress, Miss Sarah Churchill, aged 21, daughter of Mr. Winston Churchill, sailed unexpectedly for New York yesterday. It is understood that she has accepted an invitation by the American comedian, Mr. Vic. Oliver, to join his new show, "Shooting High," at a salary of £l2 a weok. The Daily Mail understands that before leaving England, Miss Churchill sent a letter to her mother, intimating that she might shortly become engaged to Mr. Oliver. When questioned over the transAtiantie telephone, Mr. Oliver told a representative of the Daily Mail that lie was much too busy at present to think of marrying anyone, but he admitted that he and Miss Churchill might become engaged some day. Miss Churchill made her stage debut in the chorus of the London show, "Follow the Sun," at the beginning of this year. Mr. Oliver also appeared in this play.
