CANADIAN RAILWAYS LABOUR R EPRESENTATIVE OTTAWA, July 17. Applying tlie policy of the Prime Minister, Mr. W. L. Mackenzie King, for applying the principles of democracy to industry, Mr. Brenton Daly, a railway conductor living in Winnipeg, ha.) been appointed to the directorate of the Canadian National Railways. Ho is one of seven directors, and will represent the interests of labour.
