Play this year will not be on the knock-out principle, the winning team in each section 'being that to secure the greatest, number of points based on -wins and drawn matches, two for a win and one for a draw. Each game will last 20 minutes, 10 minutes each way and without a spell, and an appeal is made to all teams to be ready to commence at the appointed time, all games to start and finish with the bell. The names of all players must be handed in prior to the commencement of the first game, and only 12 players may 'be registered for the tournament.
Goals only will count in the games drawn, but in the event of a final having to be played and the result after 20 minutes being a draw, extra time will be played, the first hit over the back line from the circle to count as a score, which will decide the game. If there is no result after an extra 10 minutes' play, the trophy will be held for six months by each team.
