TO-MORROW'S FIXTURE
CLOSR GAMK EXPECTED
There is a great deal of speculation as to the result of the senior represon tative Rugby fixture to be played It, morrow afternoon on the Oval between Poverty Bay and Tairawhiti. A keen game is exported by all in close touch with the form of the Poverty Bay team. This will be the local repio sentatives first try-out thin season, and will give a line on the prospect.!' of the team throughout its season's en gagcmontsi. The Poverty Pay team has not had !, gnat deal of time in which to gain continuation, but Iho men are o* pected to work in well together. On the other hand, some welt known Rugby names appear in the selected team to play for Tairawhiti. To Kani is looked upon as a potential AH Black.
A huge crowd of spectators is e.\ pected iron, the Coast to study th<form of their team, which will repre sent the Ngatiporou tribe at Wuitnni next week in the Tainui Cup match. The game will be played in conjunction with the unveiling of the memorial to thb late Sir Mam Pomnre. As a curtain-raiser to the senior fixture to-morrow the Tolaga Bay junior representative team will meet rhe Poverty Bay third grade representatives. Bright open football may be expected in this game.
