HONORARY COMMODORE
AUXILIARY AIR FORCE VISCOUNT SWINTON (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY, May 25The King has approved of the appointment of Viscount Swinton, the Secretary for Air, as honorary Air Commodore of No. 608 North Riding bomber squadron of the auxiliary force. Three former Air Secretaries have been appointed to similar rank in auxiliary air formations in the localities with which they were connected.
