EASTER WEATHER CONDITIONS IN EUROPE LONDON, April 15. Snow and hail and rain, thunder and lightning and keen winds, made Easter’s weather the bitterest for 19 years over 400X2-0 square miles of Europe yesterday. windscreens. The most unusual feature ol the weather was the comparatively high temperature existing just before the snow fell. This was caused by abnormally low temperatures in Ihe upper air. due to cold currents from the Baltic. Normally the snow would have turned to rain.
