man chased into sea LONDON. April 11. The death of a man who lived in lerror of dogs was described at the inquest at Rem broke Dock yesterday on William Ditchings. Tin* verdic; was drowning' bv jiecide.nialiy tailing into the sea. Oa Saturday morning Ditchings was seen running towards i!u sea near hi.-, house, chased by a barking dog. Later his body was recovered fioiit the water. A son, Frederick George II itching's, said at tlie inquest that in HH.7 two Alsatians jumped against his father and icrriliod him. since then he had been obsessed with a fear of dogs. A week ago a son, William Gordon Ditchings, was found hanged.
