BOWLS ON SUNDAY

APPROVED BY CLUB . CONTROL OF VISITORS (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Khaadallah Bowling .Club, at ii» annual meeting, decided bv 22 votes to 17 to permit Sunday play on <he club’s green. Opponents of the motion stated that there was a danger of the green being over-run with visitors on a Sunday, and after the motion had been carried •methods of overcoming that difficulty were discussed. . It was then decided to accept members of other clubs as honorary members, with a right to play on Sundays only, at a subscription of 255. Tho mover of the main motion said that bowls were played on Good Friday and Christmas Day, which, to some, were the most sacred 'days of the year, and he asked why some should sav what other members should do On Sunday.
