OTAGO BEATS SOUTHLAND

The women's interprovincial cricket match between Otago and Southland was concluded at Invercargill in warm weather, Otago winning by an innings and 14 runs. Otago made 99 iri its first innings, and Southland 32. In the second innings Southland was out for 53 (Miss T. Dickson 14, Miss J. Jack 12). Miss H. Miller took four wickets for 14 runs, and Miss IT. Johnson two for eight.
