PROTEST BY WOMEN

The Dairy Control Board is about to iuthori.se the exportation of 1,000,000 lb. of butter, in addition to a similar amount remaining from last year’s quota, thereby ensuring a retail price of Is. The National Council of Women affirms that the surplus could bo consumed in the home market if the price was reduced to enable children to get proper dietary. Consequently the council is advocating the abolition of the board.
