The News-Chronicle’s Warsaw correspondent says the Commercial Court’s decision to sequestrate the entire property of the French-owned Warsaw Electricity Company, valued at £10,000,000, is expected to have important political and economic consequence^. The decision followed the Warsaw municipality’s allegation that the company was overcharging and making excessive profits, and that there were •balance-sheet irregularities.
It. is stated that France intends appealing to the Hague Court.
