Queen’s Christmas Shopping
TTIE return -of the Queen to Buckingham Palace at the beginning of October meant that the Eoya! Christmas shopping campaign will begin in earnest. Choosing Christmas gifts for friends, rich and poor, is-one of the pleasures of life that really appeals to Her Majesty, and she Has made the work of giving'suitable presents a’ real art, as well as a personal joy. It has been said with truth'that the Queen ’s Christmas shopping is almost a non-stop task, beginning as soon as one Christmas is over. This is true to a certain extent, but tho real thrills are reserved for the later stages when the shops are prepared with their full festive season stocks.
