Red-Haired People

JT is curious how false impressions once formed continue to be held and arc passed on from generation io generation.

Take, for example, the common idea that people who have red hair are fiery tempered. This is very generally believed, although most people who have red-katrod friends or relations know that these are no more hottempered than others. Recently a careful scientific investigation into this question has been made, and the results suggest that tho color of the hair gives some indication of tho temper. Dr. George M. Stratton, of the University of California, who made a study of .1000 students in connection with the matter, says that hair color does have a definite, though small, relationship to tendency to anger. But he declares that it is the dark-haired person who has the most intense anger.
