DOYS make better domestic servants than girls. They are more adaptable.
So says Miss Musette Mnjendie, principal of the most democratic “university” in Britain, where she trains lads to become butlers, chauffeurs, gardeners, and handymen. The university—which is under her sole control —has five subsidiary colleges. If has proved so successful—not one of her undergraduates has failed to make good—that there are hundreds on her waiting list, and the Ministry, of Labor pays for 90 per cent, of the upkeep.
