COMMISSIONER FOR N.Z. SYDNEY BUSINESS MAN (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received March 2, noon) MELBOURNE, March 2. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, announced that Mr. R. H. Nesbitt, of Sydney, has been appointed first Australian Trade Commissioner in New Zealand for five years at a salary of £ISOO a year net, with an entertainment allowance of £3OO a year. Mr. Nesbitt is secretary of the Distributors Commercial Company Limited, of Sydney, lie is held in high esteem by the Australian business community, and is well qualified to undertake ttio important work of Trade Commissioner in New Zealand, said Mr. Lyons. Mr. Nesbitt expects to be able to sever his existing business connections by the middle of April, and will then consult with the Commerce Department before leaving for the Dominion.
