MISSING MAN LOCATED THOUGHT TO BE DEAD (Pur Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Advice Ims been received in Christchurch that Hector George Thirkell, who a year ago was reported: to be missing, is alive in Melbourne, | , Thirkell, who was manager of ,t-hA Richmond Butter Company, , Plxos, street, Wellington, came to Christ-, church on business on February J. 4, 1933. Later in the week a bundle of clothing was found on the beach at Brighton and identified by a relative as his property. Police inquiries failed to trace Thirled], and it was thought that he had gone swimming and got into difficulties. A man thought to be Thirkell was seen in Melbourne some time ago, and inquiries revealed that it was the supposedly missing man.
