Mr. .T. C. Field, Gisborne, was a recent visitor to Dunedin. Mr. Thomas Brook. Valuer-General, is visiting .Gisborne... Mr. Brook \yas formerly district land officer at Gisborne. He is accompanied by Mrs. Brook. It was announced in .last week’s Gazette that Major A. S. Muir, 0.8. L., regimental supernumerary list, is attached to the Wellington East Coast Mounted Rifles.
