Diomede will have an opportunity to-morrow night of comparing their talent, as entertainers With that- of tho company of H.M.S. Dunedin, flagship of the New Zealand Division of the Royal Navy. The Opera House has been engaged for an excellent programme by the Dunedin’s concert party, and there ,is every reason to expect* that seating accommodation will 'bo at premium, for the, accommodation was totally inadequate on the occasion of tho Diomede ’s visitWhen the official party visited the vessel this morning the following programme for the concert was Submitted by the director of the concert: —■ Opening number, “Anchors A weigh, ’ bv tine party; ban jo solo, E. Mosheim; song, “Mv Dreams,” W. Thomas; sketch, “The Coffee Stall,”’ «L Steele, J. Hodgson, F. Downton, and C. Walker; specialty, sailor’s hornpipe, J. Barry; “The Railway Porter,” J. Steele; song, selected, G. Walker; “A Spot of Bother,” between .T. Steele ami J. Hodgson. Sketch, “Mamed Bliss,” J. Steele and J. Hodgson; song, selected, C. Walker; banjo solo, E. Mosheim; “A Little Light Relief,” by L. Hodgson; sketch, “Lights of London,” C. Walker, F. Downton; J. Steele,..and J. Hodgson; song, “Friend of Mine,” W. Thomas; humorous number, “Down in the Fields,” J. Steole; finale, “Anchors A weigh, ” by the company. Orchestral numbers will be rendered by the Dunedin’s dance band, under Conductor F. Baker, with R. Martin and (i. Lockett as accompanists.
