BRITAIN’S HEAVY TOLL SPEED CONTROL URGED LONDON, Dec. 6. In, the House,oi Lords, Lord Buckmaster moved that stops should he taken without delay to lessen the danger of motor traffic. There had been 2,000,000 hurt and 75,000 killed in the past 15 years. Speed control should be reimposed, and motorists responsible for fatalities made subject to criminal law. The motion was carried.
